Role Overview:
We're looking for a strategic and hands-on Senior App store optimization(ASO) Manager to support our global app growth efforts.
This role will focus on driving organic visibility, app traffic, and in-app conversion optimization.
You'll be responsible for executing ASO strategy, exploring alternative app acquisition channels, and working cross-functionally to improve install-to-activation funnel performance.
This role is ideal for someone who understands the nuances of app growth in a highly competitive space like crypto or fintech, and who knows how to move levers outside of paid user acquisition.
Key Responsibilities:
App Store Optimization
Execute ASO updates and experiments across the App Store and Google Play
Conduct deep keyword research, competitor tracking, and metadata optimization to improve rankings and conversion
Drive creative testing (icons, screenshots, videos) across markets through store listing experiments
Collaborate with design and localization teams to ensure high-impact, regionally relevant assets
Monitor algorithm updates and store policy changes to ensure compliance and performance
Organic App Traffic Growth
Cross-app placements - app traffic exchange (within ecosystem or through partnerships)
OEM placements / pre-installs
Referral programs and community-based growth loops
Smart banners and web-to-app optimization
In-App Conversion & Funnel Optimization
Partner with product, CRM, and UX teams to test onboarding improvements and activation nudges
Support implementation of deep linking, smart banners, and deferred links to boost re-engagement
Champion experimentation around in-app triggers and UX to drive early value realization
Measurement & Insights
Qualifications:
4–6+ years of experience in ASO, mobile growth, or product marketing
Strong knowledge of ASO tools (e.g., AppTweak, Sensor Tower, Mobile Action) and app analytics platforms (e.g., Firebase, Mixpanel)
Experience working with product and UX to drive in-app onboarding and activation improvements
Strong data literacy
Comfortable managing projects across global teams and markets
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus

Experience in crypto, fintech, or other regulated digital product environments
