**Job Description:**
**Associate Design Engineer (UAE National)**
**Dubai, UAE**
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Junior Design Engineer (UAE National)** to join our team! In this role **you will get to work with our design teams to deliver high value projects to our clients.**
**What You'll Be Doing:**
Working under the direct supervision of the senior staff members:
+ Basic design calculations.
+ Hydraulic modeling for design and sizing of wet utilities.
+ Work with the drafting team involved in preparation of drawings
+ Assist in quantity take off to prepare bill of quantities.
**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ **4-year degree** in **Engineering (Civil or Environmental Engineering),** candidates with 2-3 years experience will be preferred.
Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
**What Desired Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Familiarity with **CAD (Civil 3D)** and **GIS.**
+ Academic/hands on experience of design and analysis software like Sewer Gems and Water Gems.
+ Basic knowledge of open channel and piped hydraulics.
+ Basic/academic knowledge of planning, designing and construction of centralized and decentralized urban drainage, sewerage and water supply networks will be added advantage.
+ We are looking for a team player with good inter-personal, communication and report writing skills.
