Job description

As a key figure in our organization, the Building Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and monitor all building project works to guarantee compliance with design specifications and industry standards.

  • Review and provide input on building shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements to ensure quality and accuracy.

  • Liaise between building subcontractors and site teams to resolve issues and maintain smooth project progress.

  • Integrate building works seamlessly with civil and architectural components to achieve a cohesive project outcome.

  • Monitor project progress, ensuring timely completion in line with the overall project schedule.

  • Identify and address discrepancies or conflicts in building designs and installations to prevent delays and errors.

  • Support procurement by reviewing technical specifications and ensuring timely delivery of building materials and equipment.

  • Prepare and submit regular progress reports to the project management team, providing valuable insights and updates.

  • Participate in project meetings, contributing technical expertise and input where necessary.

Requirements:

To excel as a Building Project Coordinator, you should possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

A strong understanding of building design principles, industry standards, and construction practices is essential.

Proficiency in relevant software applications and tools is also desirable.
