Responsibilities: 
- Contract Strategy & Planning 
 - Develop contract frameworks and procurement strategies in line with UAE construction laws, FIDIC, and company policies.
 - Participate in project kickoff meetings and align contractual requirements with project budgets and timelines.
 - Tendering & Subcontract Management 
 - Prepare, issue, and evaluate tender packages for subcontractors, suppliers, and service providers.
 - Lead contract negotiations and finalize agreements ensuring cost efficiency and scope clarity.
 - Maintain a comprehensive database of approved vendors and subcontractors.
 - Contract Administration 
 - Draft, review, and manage all contractual documentation including main contracts, subcontracts, variation orders, extensions of time (EOT), and claims.
 - Ensure all parties comply with contractual obligations, deliverables, and performance milestones.
 - Cost Control & Commercial Management 
 - Monitor contract budgets, payment schedules, and cash flow forecasts.
 - Coordinate with Quantity Surveyors and Finance teams on monthly progress valuations, invoices, and certifications.
 - Identify potential risks, cost overruns, and discrepancies and advise corrective commercial actions.
 - Claims & Dispute Resolution 
 - Prepare and evaluate claims related to delays, variations, or scope disputes.
 - Lead dispute resolution discussions and ensure alignment with FIDIC and UAE arbitration procedures when necessary.
 - Stakeholder & Regulatory Coordination 
 - Liaise with consultants, clients, legal advisors, and government entities (Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DDA, etc.).
 - Ensure all contractual procedures adhere to UAE construction regulations, health & safety standards, and ISO requirements.
 - Reporting & Documentation 
 - Maintain detailed contract logs, correspondence records, and audit trails.
 - Provide regular commercial reports to senior management highlighting risks, opportunities, and financial status.
  
Requirements: 
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Law, or related field.
 - Minimum 7-10 years of experience in contract/commercial management for high-rise or large-scale construction projects in Dubai or UAE.
 - Strong knowledge of FIDIC, UAE Civil Law, and local authority procedures.
 - Excellent negotiation, documentation, and dispute resolution skills.
