Desktop Support Engineer L3



Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled L3 Desktop Support Engineer to provide advanced technical support for end-user devices, applications, and IT infrastructure.

The role involves resolving complex incidents, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring high service availability for business users.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 3 escalation support for desktops, laptops, and end-user applications
  • Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and OS issues (Windows, macOS, Linux)
  • Manage imaging, deployment, patching, and upgrades of workstations
  • Support Active Directory, Group Policies, Exchange/O365, and MFA setups
  • Troubleshoot networking issues (LAN/WAN, VPN, WiFi) in collaboration with the network team
  • Configure and support mobile devices (MDM, iOS, Android)
  • Handle AV/meeting room support and advanced troubleshooting of collaboration tools (Zoom, Teams, WebEx)
  • Manage and support printers, peripherals, and endpoint security solutions
  • Act as a technical mentor for L1/L2 engineers, providing guidance and training
  • Maintain accurate records in ITSM tools (ServiceNow/Jira/Remedy)
  • Support IT asset/inventory management and ensure compliance with IT policies
  • Provide on-call or after-hours support as required

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: AED5, AED5,500.00 per month
