We are looking for an experienced leader to be the Director of Country Business Marketing across our EMEA region. Drawing on your skills bringing teams and people together in an inclusive and thoughtful way, you will be well positioned to drive marketing excellence – our goal is to be the best marketing function in the industry. In this role you would be responsible for leading and aligning the marketing strategy across the four regional teams in the EMEA Marketing group – Southern, Northern, Central Europe and Middle East and Africa. You will be accountable for all marketing budgets in market, and ensure we deliver best in class marketing, effective messaging while at the same time, ensuring complete coverage of this large and diverse region. You will be experienced at leading diverse and geographically distributed teams, which includes a raft of senior managers/leaders, you will have proven ability to align marketing activities across multiple geographies and create impact at scale. You will be working alongside central marketing services (centres of excellence) that will support and work closely with your teams, therefore you will know how to be successful in a matrix organisation. Furthermore, you will need to demonstrate the ability to build productive stakeholder relationships and work collaboratively with other leaders to bring the whole EMEA Marketing strategy together with the leaders across the business marketing team and sales operations , diverse team building capabilities and track record of building and running high performing teams. You will be passionate about building the right infrastructure and operational capability to run a complex area, you will bring passion to add value on top of the marketing leaders already in this team, and have strong reporting and operational capabilities. You will not be expected to run marketing campaigns or get into the detail of performance marketing techniques, however you are expected to have experience overseeing both offline and online campaigns, have worked closely with agencies on creative and media and able to lead teams that do produce these outputs. You will enjoy elevating creative and quality of narrative and be focused on building a strong capability of customer insight driven activities with your regional , with diverse experiences, perspectives, and ideas rely on Facebook to build community, and so to bring the world closer together, diversity is a must-have for Facebook, not an option. Lead a large high performing team of marketers spread across multiple countries2. As a key part of the business marketing leadership team in EMEA, drive best in class marketing to deliver maximum return on investment3. Partner with the local consumer, policy and comms leadership team to align external messages4. Orchestrate the regional strategy across Facebook’s EMEA regions (Northern Europe, Southern Europe, Central Europe and globally)5. Identify economies of scale and ways of working that will enable growth6. Assess and balance the marketing mix to maximise impact and value7. Collaborate across the world on scaling local, regional ideas8. Drive EMEA Revenue through smart mid-long term marketing activities9. Adopt and innovate to bring the best mar tech into the team10. Foster and embed a data driven measurement mindset into our country marketing effort**Minimum Qualifications:** 11. Significant experience in a B2B/B2C marketing leadership role12. Proven leader of leaders role in other fast moving companies13. Managed multimillion $ budgets, Pref full opex responsibilities14. Strong and inclusive people management capabilities and stakeholder management15. Proven experience of successfully working in a matrix organization16. Proven experience leading large, geographically distributed teams17. Deep knowledge of the advertising and marketing industries across EMEA18. Expert in operational efficiency through automation of tools and processes19. Strong executive presence and a track record of working well in cross functional teams**Preferred Qualifications:** 20.
