The System Administrator will be responsible for administering and monitoring on-premises and cloud-based servers (Windows/Linux), managing Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and user accounts.
They will oversee network infrastructure: firewalls, routers, switches, and VPNs, ensuring security best practices including patch management, backup, and disaster recovery.
Additionally, they will maintain hardware inventory and ensure lifecycle management of IT assets, monitor system performance, and perform tuning to maintain efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have experience installing, configuring, and supporting enterprise applications and services (e.g., Exchange, Microsoft 365, Azure, VMware).
They will coordinate with vendors and service providers for issue resolution and procurement, respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and document resolutions.
Furthermore, they will create and maintain IT documentation (network diagrams, SOPs, configuration guides) and assist with IT audits and compliance requirements.
