Information Technology Support Engineer



Job description

Our client is seeking a skilled Workspace IT Support Executive to provide end-to-end technical support across the organization.

This role involves managing IT tickets, ensuring seamless system operations, and supporting both hardware and software environments in a fast-paced workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily IT support tickets and provide assistance via email, phone, or remote access
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
  • Administer LAN/WAN networking and troubleshoot related issues
  • Manage Office 365 and G-Suite administration, resolving user issues such as email flow, auto-replies, forwarding, distribution groups, and signature setups
  • Handle IT projects assigned by the Head of Department, including project planning, scope, and timely delivery within budget
  • Administer and configure Zoho products, Jamf, Sophos XDR, Perception Point, and Genesys Omnichannel
  • Manage front desk ticketing systems, attendance machines, CCTV, and smart devices
  • Troubleshoot network security, printer problems, and Windows/Mac issues
  • Provide data storage and backup solutions (Google Drive, OneDrive) and manage virtualization/storage systems
  • Implement and manage Azure Active Directory, shared folders, and NTFS permissions
  • Administer Cisco telephony, switches, and FortiGate firewall systems
  • Install, configure, and maintain virtual machines through VMware
  • Oversee IT procurement, asset tagging, registration, and stock management via Service Desk+
  • Conduct employee IT onboarding and training on new systems
  • Develop and update IT policies and procedures
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and evidence
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support departmental objectives.

Qualifications & Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related IT fields
  • ITIL V3 certification preferred
  • 2–4 years of proven experience in IT support or a similar role
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across hardware, software, and network systems
  • Experience in network support, ERP management, and Genesys Omnichannel
  • Basic knowledge of cybersecurity practices
  • Proficiency in system administration tools and IT asset management
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Fluent in English & Arabic.
