Job Description:

Junior Wet Utilities Engineer

Abu Dhabi, UAE

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Junior Wet Utilities Engineer to join our team In this role you will get to work in a major infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Assist in the design and development of wet utilities systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

  • Conduct site assessments and surveys to gather data on existing drainage conditions.

  • Perform hydraulic calculations to support the design.

  • Support in prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications.

  • Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and drainage modeling software ( Bentley Software and Infoworks ICM is a must)
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and stakeholders to integrate drainage solutions into overall project designs.

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to wet utilities and stormwater management.

  • Participate in project meetings and provide technical support as needed.

  • Assist in the preparation of cost estimates.

  • Conduct field inspections and provide recommendations for network improvements.

  • Stormwater 1D and 2D design, Catchment delineation, Runoff quantification and hydrological analysis.

  • Open Channel, Culverts and closed system detailed design.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable university.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in wet utilities or drainage engineering.

  • Knowledge of hydraulic and hydrologic principles.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and drainage modeling software.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

  • Experienced using in Infoworks ICM
