JOB SUMMARY

Ensure proper cleaning of linen, terry and guest clothing items and uniforms.

To obtained the highest possible and balanced Brand Standard audit certification and departmental productivity.

**SPECIFIC DUTIES**

Balanced Scorecard Results: Implements strategies and executes activities to drive and continuously improve financial results, guest satisfaction, and human capital index and market share.

+ Reports to Housekeeping office with uniform and clock in.
+ Collects the laundry, suites metal key bunch from HK office, signs for it and picks up daily room reports from Housekeeping office.

To ensure that the key is not handed over to anyone and should not open guest rooms for anyone.

**Essential Functions**

+ Ensuring his/her uniform and name tag are worn as per hotel standard.
+ Proper sorting and tagging of guest clothes
+ Using equipment – Flat presser, washing machine, dryers and dry clean machine
+ Wash and dry guest clothes
+ Pressing of guest clothes
+ Folding of guest clothes
+ Using correct chemicals
+ Delivering of guest clothes to guest suites
+ Attending daily briefings and departmental meetings
+ Maintaining the cleanliness of work area
+ Arranging and organizing the laundry and linen store rooms
+ Inspect cleanliness of articles removed from the washer, dryer, or dry cleaning machines and place in clean linen carts.
+ Set dryers to designate times and temperatures based on fabrics contained in load.
+ Remove articles from dryer when cycle is complete.
+ Remove lint and debris from dryer screens, dry cleaning filters, and drain trap after each load.
+ Fold cleaned articles into designated size, either by hand or using folding machine.
+ Operate washing and, dry cleaning machinery in accordance with company standards.
+ To be aware of Health and safety regulations
+ Since there is no linen runner or line shoot, ensure to collect all the guest suite soil linen and segregating /drop them to the respective location.
+ Any other duties as assigned by the housekeeping Supervisor.
+ Support to get the green certification for the property and ensure to pack &store the collected used for its collection of outside recycling company.
+ During sandstorm/Heavy wind and Rains days ensure that all last minute housekeeping requests are fulfilled and immediate assistance given for the effected in house guest.
+ Report all sudden break down laundry equipment’s to engineering department and get it repaired without effecting the operation.
+ Deliver processed all guest laundries and keep ready the management personal laundry for their pickup.
+ Ensure all associates in the department followed the PPE procedures and maintained the social distancing in the laundry and all associates used the ECOLAB recommended cleaning/ sanitizing products and maintained proper levels of stocks.
