We are looking for Lead Software Engineer (Python) who will:
- Design and develop advanced backend services using Python and FastAPI.
- Lead the deployment of scalable and secure applications with Kubernetes.
- Architect and manage complex databases using PostgreSQL.
- Guide and mentor junior developers in best practices and coding standards.
- Oversee the integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Collaborate with stakeholders to refine backend features and drive product vision.
- Ensure the creation of robust and effective DevOps processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong proficiency in Python.
- Expertise in FastAPI, with substantial experience in developing and scaling applications.
- Advanced skills in database design and management with PostgreSQL.
- Experience with PostgreSQL’s geographic data capabilities, such as PostGIS.
Familiarity with spatial and geographic data processing in PostgreSQL.
- Leadership skills and experience mentoring other developers.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Familiar with various project management methodologies such as Agile, Lean
- Fluently in English communication and written
