The Role

As an Options Technology Support On-Site Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting our options trading operations and technology infrastructure.

You will work closely with the client’s technology team and other professionals to ensure the smooth operation of our options trading platform.

This role is based in Dubai.

Required technical proficiency includes:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Technical expertise: strong knowledge of Office 365, Azure, Endpoint Management, device deployment, and AV troubleshooting.

  • Experience: 1–2 years in a similar on-site technical support role within financial services.

  • Problem-solving: ability to analyze issues, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions; strong troubleshooting under pressure.

  • Communication: excellent verbal and written communication; ability to convey technical concepts clearly; strong interpersonal skills.

  • Client focus: understanding and fulfilling client requirements with exceptional service; proactive in anticipating needs.

  • Adaptability: thrive in a fast-paced environment; willing to adapt to changing priorities and take on additional responsibilities.

Typical Job Duties

  • On-Site Technical Support: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for the client, providing on-site support for trading technology systems.

  • System Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor health and performance of systems; perform routine maintenance, updates, and configuration changes.

  • Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve issues; escalate to internal teams as needed and coordinate resolutions.

  • Incident Management: Respond to incidents and service requests per SLAs; document incidents and resolutions accurately.

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with client stakeholders; act as a technical advisor.

  • System Enhancements and Upgrades: Collaborate with development teams to implement enhancements and validation testing.

  • Training and Knowledge Sharing: Conduct training for client staff and share best practices with internal teams and clients.
