The Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence Specialist at Group will play a pivotal role in driving the organization's digital transformation by leveraging Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) and related analytics technologies.
As part of the Digital and Transformation division within the Corporate Cluster, the specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing advanced data models, reports, and dashboards to support business decision-making across the group's diverse operations.
This role is critical in ensuring that data from Oracle Fusion ERP, HCM, SCM, and CX modules is effectively harnessed to deliver actionable insights and enhance operational efficiency.
Working closely with the Manager of Data Strategy and Analytics, the specialist will lead the setup, configuration, and migration of FDI solutions, integrate external data sources, and support the development of robust ETL processes.
The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that analytics solutions align with business needs, adhere to best practices, and support teams vision of being a global leader in trade and logistics innovation.
Tasks
Data Modeling and Solution Design (25% of time)
- Design, build, and extend FDI semantic models tailored to business requirements.
- Analyze and develop custom data models, including OTBI PVO-based star schemas.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications.
Implementation, Setup, and Migration (20% of time)
- Perform setup, configuration, and migration activities within Fusion Data Intelligence Platform (FDIP).
- Lead and support end-to-end FDI or FAW implementation cycles.
- Document implementation processes and maintain technical documentation.
Reporting and Analytics Development (25% of time)
- Develop and optimize reports and dashboards using Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and ADW.
- Create and fine-tune SQL queries and PL/SQL scripts for data extraction and manipulation.
- Utilize BI Publisher, OTBI, and BICC for report generation and data integration.
ETL and Data Integration (20% of time)
- Implement and manage ETL processes using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and OCI Data Integration (OCI DI).
- Integrate external data sources into FDI and ADW environments.
- Monitor and optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability.
Collaboration, Support, and Continuous Improvement (10% of time)
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure analytics solutions meet evolving business needs.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for FDI-related issues.
• Stay updated on emerging Oracle technologies and recommend improvements.
