We are currently in search of a Maritime Engineer with strong Port Master Planning skills and experience. Strong technical skills in industrial ports, including expertise in port infrastructure, operations and predominantly port planning are required. Experience in all port cargo terminal types including containers, bulk, general cargo and multi-purpose. Project Management is also envisaged to complement the strong technical experience. The role will ideally be based in KSA to serve our current and growing project portfolio.The essence of this job will be to successfully provide strong technical engineering advice as part of our growing team. The role will require strong engineering skills as well as strong project management skills to ensure that projects are guided and monitored to successful delivery. Coordinating and liaising with internal teams both in the Middle East region and globally will be required. Coordinating with all relevant parties and representatives such as clients, owners, operators, vendors and legal authorities to ensure the successful completion of the projects on time and within budget. Collaboration and communication with internal and external stakeholders.The role will require excellent client facing skills with strong ability to show technical capabilities in ports and maritime, particularly around port design and planning.Here’s what you’ll needAs an effective candidate you will have a degree in Engineering with high level of technical knowledge and experience in industrial port planning, design and operations. A relevant professional qualification would be seen as a strong advantage. Confident in communication and coordination with good presentation skills, you should have experience of working within multidisciplinary engineering and design teams.
