It is focused on business-driven enterprise architectures to support enterprise-wide applications solutions across Oracle portfolio and customer silos. Our role will be varied and fit to each engagement, typically involving the activities below:_ + _Drive engaging discovery interviews with customer stakeholders to help uncover pain points and to understand business processes within their organisation_ + _Assist sales team to qualify, structure and manage an engagement process with customers_ + _Assist sales teams with account planning and penetration/adoption strategies_ + _Provide thought leadership & coaching to sales & presales to accelerate sales cycles_ + _Work alongside cross functional pre-sales and consulting teams to engage, excite, and educate prospects on their transformation_ + _Help drive customers towards strategic thinking that drives business results_ + _Build long-term architecture relationship with customer at the chief Architect/CTO level_ + _Use knowledge of Retail industry processes and IT market trends, cloud native technologies and business environment to lead discussion focusing on the benefits of Oracle Retail Cloud Services._ + _Identify and develop potential transformational opportunities through multiple smaller engagements_ + _Co-ordinate all aspects of the solution (business and technical) into a cohesive solution architecture_ + _Articulate the overall solution to customer key architecture stakeholders_ _Integrity, Mutual Respect, Cooperation and Innovation are the key values supporting all of our activities._ **_Qualifications and experience_** + _French language skills would be preferred._ + _A proven and enthusiastic, high-energy, naturally curious and problem-solving individual who is visibly passionate and capable of inspiring others_ + _10 years across the Retail industry and Financial or Manufacturing services (either within a Retailer, FMCG Supplier or Software/Consulting supplier)_ + _5 years international experience in business systems architecture across the landscape of Merchandising, Planning, Omnichannel, Finance and Supply Chain._ + _3 years in cloud native technologies, artificial Intelligence based systems and DevOps organizations._ + _10 years across sales/presales and consulting positions_ + _Wide knowledge of IT market and trends_ + _Detailed knowledge of architectural approaches including cloud computing, containerization, disaster recovery, application rationalization, information management, Big Data, Oracle and non-Oracle applications_ + _Ability to craft and articulate strategic solutions_ + _Business level English required; additional languages highly desirable_ + _Education to BS degree or equivalent is required; advanced degree desirable_ **_The role requires national and international travel around 25% to 50% of the time._** **_Technical Skills Required_** + _Wide background including architecture, implementation and delivery of large scale projects with leading retailers_ **Detailed Description and Job Requirements** Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell. As a Principal Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. Develops productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 3 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 7 years business experience with relevant computer applications or database/tools. Ability to implement the most advanced product features. Thorough knowledge of system and application design. In depth knowledge of competitors. Demonstrated project management skills. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication. Ability to travel as needed.
