A Senior QA/QC Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality of construction works on-site, in compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulations.
They play a critical role in maintaining quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) processes, ensuring that the project meets the required standards and is delivered successfully.

What You'll Be Doing:
1.
Quality Assurance (QA) Management
Develop and implement the project-specific Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) and procedures.
Ensure that all construction activities comply with the approved quality standards, specifications, and codes.
Conduct regular audits of QA processes to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
Monitor the implementation of quality management systems (QMS) on-site.
2.
Quality Control (QC) Supervision
Supervise and inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
Verify that materials, equipment, and workmanship meet the required quality benchmarks.
Conduct inspections and tests at various stages of construction, such as pre-concreting, post-concreting, reinforcement placement, and finishing works.
Ensure proper documentation and approval of inspection and test plans (ITPs).

Material Inspection and Testing
Inspect materials delivered to the site to ensure they meet project specifications and quality requirements.
Coordinate with third-party laboratories for material testing (e.g., concrete compressive strength, soil compaction, steel tensile strength).

What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 10+ years of extensive experience in QA/QC roles preferably in large-scale of infrastructure projects including roads ands bridges.
Minimum 2 years working experience in construction supervision on large-scale infrastructure projects within Abu Dhabi.
Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and quality standards.
Familiarity with international and local codes (e.g., ISO 9001, ASTM, BS, ACI, or local standards).
Ability to identify defects, non-conformances, and areas for improvement.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with contractors, consultants, and clients.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address quality-related issues effectively.
Familiarity with QA/QC documentation tools and project management software.
