**Job Description:**
**Senior Q** **uantity Surveyor**
**Dubai, UAE**
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Senior Q** **uantity Surveyor** to join our team! In this role you will get to **perform a variety of standard estimating activities, re-measurement of work completed by the contractors (individual or as part of a team) on an assigned project/program.**
**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Review, verify, and process interim and final payment applications from contractors, ensuring alignment with contract terms and project progress.
+ Manage and regularly update essential cost management logs, including payment logs, variation logs, and claims logs, to ensure traceability and transparency.
+ Prepare and/or review variation submissions and new rate proposals, assessing cost, scope, and time implications to ensure fair and accurate contract adjustments.
+ Draft and review variation/change orders in line with contractual procedures and support the approval process through proper documentation and justifications.
+ Assist in the preparation and maintenance of cost plans, budgets, and forecasts.
Monitor project expenditures and provide input to support financial control.
+ Draft, review, and advise on contractual letters and communications to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and protect project and client interests.
+ Collaborate with the team to assess and respond to contractor claims, including extension of time (EOT), disruption, and other commercial claims, ensuring robust defense or fair evaluation.
**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering/ Construction Management/ Quantity Surveying.
(or other related field).
+ **Minimum 12 years of prime contract administration experience is required.**
+ Incumbent must also possess strong written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills.
+ Conversant with **CESMM, FIDIC** and other relevant standards.
+ Working knowledge of PC software packages typically associated with contract administration.
Ability to perform in a management capacity is also required.
**What Desired Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Relevant Professional membership (MRICS or equivalent)
+ Related work experience in Dubai.
