General Description of Role and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for effective delivery of soft services comprising of Catering, waste management, Cleaning (indoor, outdoor and façade cleaning), pest control, indoor plants maintenance.
  • Accountable for standardization of the quality of soft services provided throughout various locations and facilities across the UAE
  • Oversee performance of assigned contractors to ensure scheduled services and reactive services are completed in line with the scope/SLA stipulated in the respective contracts.
  • Liaise with management and stakeholders to ensure services are delivered to the expected standards
  • Handle escalations in relation to services provided by soft services contractors.
  • Manage and oversee daily, weekly and monthly performance evaluation audits for soft services contractors
  • Responsible for monthly performance evaluations in line with contractual SLA/KPIs.
  • Responsible to ensure soft services are provided in compliance with relevant regulatory and Group HSE requirements which may change from time to time.
  • Must have the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization including operation reporting, data analysis and trending, executive presentations / management reporting and performance reporting.
  • Manage in-house and outsourced resources to achieve compliance with company policies, procedures and guidelines while ensuring operational and financial efficiency.
  • Informs themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals and Procedures in place within Hill International, and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.
  • Qualifications

    Qualification, Experience, Skills, and Knowledge:

  • A Graduate with at least 8 years of experience working on a management position handling soft services in Retail and Corporate Office environments.
  • Experience in handling multiple facilities simultaneously.
  • Excellent knowledge of BICS standards. Should be capable of delivering trainings to Soft Services staff.
  • Experience with sustainable and green soft services delivery will be preferred.
  • Should have operational knowledge about Integrated Facilities Management.
  • Should be well versed with the coordination norms across various FM Functions – Hard Services, Workspace Management.
