We are currently looking for Strategy andPlanning Manager to join our Group Transformation team who will beresponsible in the following areas: •Facilitating the co-development of strategy and transformationplans for select divisions within the Group •Acting as the interface between the transformation office andselect divisional presidents & Group directors• Challenging perceived wisdoms and entrenched ways ofdoing things to orchestrate major change towards new revenuestreams/business models • Tracking quality,ROI and benefits realization on behalf of the CTO• Developing perspective on critical issues and requiredcounter measures during delivery of key change programs• Developing employee engagement plans & embed theskills & tools required to deliver objectivesOverall • Helps CTO manage theTransformation agenda including structure, methods and issuemanagement • Works with peers within theTransformation Management Office to continuously iterate theGroup’s approaches and tools for transformation • Coordinates the use of external strategic advisorsto help maximize ROI for the Group • Shapesstrategy, transformation agenda, and new opportunities across theGroup with CTO, Business Presidents, and leadership teams • Manages team, guides activities, and reviews alloutputs • Drives transformation efforts ondaily basis with senior business leaders and teams• Maintains intimate familiarity with all initiativecontent and progress • Resolves issues withthe team and escalates to CTO as necessary •Prepares ad hoc requests, analyses, and reports for CTO and seniorleaders Group wide Assessment &Planning • Identifies transformation needs andopportunities across the organization • Leadscollection and organization of relevant data for initiativeplanning and analysis • Developstransformation business cases by analyzing information, formulatingand testing hypotheses, and developing and communicatingrecommendations • Helps define financial andnon-financial impact of projects in partnership with Finance andleaders Group wide Validation &Implementation • Supports transformationleads/managers in collecting information and documenting progressof initiatives (reports, analysis, emerging issue logs)• Develops TMO tools and systems and leads adoption • Tracks financial and non-financial impact ofinitiatives and overall projects • Preparesdetailed analyses and presentation of outcomesAutomotive Strategy & Planning• Formulates the global auto strategy in collaborationwith the President and Director of Strategy &Transformation • Tracks and reports on theexecution of the strategy and its implementation across thedivision in collaboration with senior leaders• Helps conduct business planning and set thePresident’s strategic agenda including aligning seniorexecutives in the division and at Group level• Develops long term view on strategic initiatives withsponsors / senior executives with quantified impact, effort anddetailed requirements to deliver • Works withsenior leaders in the division and at Group level to identify newbusiness opportunities and develop approach to realization • Develops updates on the strategy execution as partof the quarterly business review meetings (BRMs)• Supports businesses in shaping strategy, business plansand transformation agendas • Understandsmarket realities, assess business performance and internalcapabilities • Facilitates the co-developmentof detailed timelines including milestones, dependencies, teamorganization and budget • Leads analyses andoptions evaluations and presents recommendations• Drives workshops and meetings with initiative teams andsupports in aligning senior executives AutoTransformation • Facilitates theco-development of detailed timelines including milestones,dependencies, team organization and budgets for delivery • Assists the President and Director of Strategy& Transformation with embedding appropriate methods andresolve emerging issues • Interfaces betweenthe President, divisional leadership, and TMO team• Ensures correct implementation of transformation andoptimization plans across various programs. •Delivers ad hoc projects on behalf of the Auto President • Facilitates the co-development of the overalldivisional transformation plan • AutoPMO • Tracks and monitors the execution anddelivery of strategic projects • Collatesbiweekly progress report for all strategic projects• Develops monthly report and presentation on strategyexecution for President to share with Group’s ViceChairman Execution •Provides implementation support to select divisions and functionswith clear accountability for certain deliverables• Directly manages select programs for growth, turnaroundand exits • Meets / collaborates withtransformation/program/project sponsors & managers to helpclarify scope and coordinates across teams to ensure alignment andprogress • Guides team members on key elementsof relevant initiatives including objectives •Manages and coaches resources on delivery methods with a focus onagility • Helps prioritize initiatives • Anticipates, captures and addresses issues duringdelivery • Keeps CTO and other executivesupdated on progress, next steps, issues and decisionsrequired • Prepares Executive Committeemeeting reports Skills Aboutthe Requirements Education: Master’slevel, preferably an MBA Minimum Experience andKnowledge: • 12+ years of professionalexperience, typically in strategy and program delivery acrossvariety of businesses • Leadership experienceand track record of managing high performing teams and developingtalent • Clear strategic thinking and abilityto create buy-in and influence at the C-suite level.• Deep understanding of large-scale transformations • Ability to quickly master new topics across a widerange of areas and industries • Understandingof operations, business models, and value chain in core businesses(Auto, Retail, Real Estate, and Contracting) •Commercial acumen and proficiency in financial statements • Exemplary program management, communication andorganizational skills • Strong track record ofsuccess demonstrated through academic performance, promotions,etc. Job-Specific/Technical Skills required tocomplete the tasks: • Strong interpersonalskills and ability to establish contact and trust with seniorleaders • Strong managerial skills withability to direct and inspire team to elevate performance • Strong analytical thinking, problem solving, andresourcefulness • Ability to anticipateconflict and resolving pending issues • Strongoral and written communication – excellent ability tocrystalize messages for executives • Strongunderstanding of business and policy issues faced byorganizations • High attention to detail aswell as big picture, strategic thinking •Ability to operate well under ambiguity and to drive people towardsan endpoint • Senior management consultantwith strong background across variety of sectors – autoand insurance experience required • Deepunderstanding of transformation and program management• Experience in building and implementing broad scale,cross enterprise initiatives
