We are seeking a Techno- Functional Associate Applications (UAEN) to join the Technology team.
This pivotal role ensures that core business systems operate seamlessly, empowering teams to work efficiently, make data-driven decisions, and deliver exceptional results.
Embedded within the Digital Services team and working closely with Investments, Finance, and Operations, this position plays a key role in implementing, optimizing, and maintaining advanced business systems that drive operational excellence and financial accuracy.
The role directly influences decision-making speed, process reliability, and overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and Manage Systems: Implement, optimize, and maintain finance and operations applications to ensure reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
- Be a Strategic Partner: Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Investments to translate business needs into effective technology solutions.
- Drive Projects End-to-End: Manage project planning, QA, UAT, vendor coordination, and successful delivery of technology initiatives.
- Ensure Operational Excellence: Provide hands-on support, streamline workflows, and continuously enhance processes for maximum impact.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.
Additional studies in Statistics, Economics, or Finance are preferred.
- 6-8 years of relevant experience within asset management, investment banking, private equity, or similar high-performance financial environments.
- UAEN-Mandatory
- Proven experience defining detailed business requirements and serving as a bridge between business and technology.
- Hands-on experience in creating reports and analyses using enterprise systems based on business requirements.
- Strong analytical, consultancy, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven.
Hands-on experience with fund operations and fund accounting systems such as eFront, Investran, or similar platforms.
- Proven track record of delivering projects end-to-end, from requirements gathering to QA and production operations.
- Finance certifications such as CFA are an advantage.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of the private equity industry.
