Job description

Job Purpose:

Responsible for generating sales revenue through aggressive sales and customer care.

To professionally provide transportation and logistic solutions on/to France, North Africa and guide the customers with regards to products and services to match their requirements.

In addition, constantly follow the market trends through regular market and competitor analysis, in order to provide the management with the latest market trends and requirements.

In general, to develop the business with France, North Africa (Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria).

Key Accountabilities:

  • Identify and visit new potential customers for the French and North African Market
  • Sales development together with Dubai, France and MA/TU/DZ
  • Management of sales leads In & out between France and MA/TU/DZ
    To settle and update rate grids and SOPs together with Dubai / France / MA/TU/DZ
  • Development of new products / Services
  • Introduce company's products/ services to the new customers.
  • Maintain good business relations with the next coming customers
  • Prepare and send quotations to the customers promptly.
  • Prepare Sales plan for the weekly customer visits and follow-ups.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales/revenue reports vs.

    targets
  • Attend to customer requirements with prompt response/communication at all times.
  • Prepare and maintain updated customer database and make it available to supervisor or management as required.
  • Participate and contribute actively to the sales meetings.
  • Collect information about customers, market and competitors and forward it to the direct supervisor.
  • Maintain sales visit reports and updated customer profiles.
  • Process credit request requested by customers and forward for management approval
  • Follow up with the customers on long overdue payments after being notified by the accounts department.
  • Ensure all actions meet the safety standards not jeopardizing level of product /service quality and environment. 
  • Report on current market trends and customer requirements
  • Any task that is relevant to the above-mentioned role.

Job Context:
Internal: Operations/Customer Support, Account teams, Accounts
External: Customers, Overseas offices, Agencies, Partner companies and vendors
Mainly out doors, France, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria

Qualifications and Skills:

  • University degree in relevant discipline
  • Research and analysis skills
  • Team player and good coordination skills
  • Organized and attention to detail
  • Active, Dynamic, and self motivated.
  • Communication, Interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • English Fluency in oral/written Arabic would be a plus
  • IT Skills (Freight Forwarding applications, MS Office)
  • Holding U.A.E driving license.
  • INDEPENDENTLY PROCURE RATES, PREPARE QUOTES AND SECURE BUSINESS
  • MUST HAVE: 1+ years experience in freight forwarding, sales / international transportation / Foreign trade in UAE
