In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, optimizing, and maintaining our websites, ensuring they are user-friendly, visually appealing, and functionally robust.

You will work closely with our marketing, design, and event production teams to enhance our online presence and deliver exceptional digital experiences.

Requirements:

• Proficient in WordPress, Google Search Console, E-commerce and Performance Optimization.
  
  
• Implement on-page SEO strategies, including optimizing content, meta tags and headings.
  
  
• Analyze website traffic and user behavior using tools like Google Analytics.
  
  
• Solid project-level experience with ACF, Dynamic Web Design and Page Builders.
  
  
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud, AWS).
  
  
• Familiarity with the LAMP environment.
  
  
• Experience with E-commerce solutions and methodologies.
  
  
• Previous experience in a development firm/agency environment.
  
  
• Basic knowledge of Git and other code versioning tools.
  
  
• Experience in testing and debugging tools.
  
  
• Solid understanding of web development life-cycle and best practices.
  
  
• Strong English proficiency (written and verbal).

Responsibilities:

• Build, customize and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring they meet the standards and functionality needs.
  
  
• Develop custom themes and plugins as required to enhance website capabilities.
  
  
• Optimize website speed and performance through best practices (caching, image optimization, etc.).
  
  
• Monitor and troubleshoot any issues related to website performance or functionality.
  
  
• Implement security measures to protect the website from vulnerabilities and cyber threats.
  
  
• Backup website data regularly and implement recovery procedures.
  
  
• Ensure the website provides an excellent user experience, focusing on ease of navigation and clear calls to action.
  
  
• Design and implement engaging UI elements that enhance user interaction and satisfaction.
  
  
• Manage and update website content, including event details, blog posts and multimedia.
  
  
• Implement and manage content management workflows for various types of content.
  
  
• Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and increase website traffic.
  
  
• Optimize website content, meta tags, headings and images to improve search engine visibility.
  
  
• Implement schema markup to enhance search engine understanding of website content.
  
  
• Optimize site architecture, URL structures and internal linking for better search engine indexing.
  
  
• Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console and SEO-specific tools.
  
  
• Ensure that event-specific content and promotions are effectively integrated into the website and optimized for search engines.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Information Technology, or a related field.
  
  
• Relevant Certifications in WordPress development, web design, or related technologies (e.g., WordPress Certified Developer, Google Analytics Certification) are a plus.
  
  
• Proven Experience in lieu of formal education will be considered, provided there is a strong portfolio of WordPress projects.

Pay: AED4,000 - AED5,000.00 per month
