Assistant Restaurant Manager

Responsibilitiesa) Outlet- Assists the Operations Manager in handling overallrestaurant operations. – Reviews existingstandards and procedures while implementing new bestpractices. – Relays any necessary information tothe concerned head office department – Settingsales targets. – Maximizing sales andprofitability. – Maintaining and increasingstandards of customer service. – Establishingand enforcing the industry and company’s standardoperating procedures and policies. -Coordinating daily front of the house and back of the houserestaurant operations. – Working as the manageron the floor (MTF). Working as the manager on duty (MOD).- Delivering superior service and maximizingguests’ satisfaction. Responding efficiently andaccurately to guests’ complaints. -Visiting our guests’ tables for feedbacks and updatingthem on their foods and drinks. b) EmployeeHandling – Managing workgroups.- Maintaining complete knowledge of all our foods andbeverages, outlets, services and hours of operation.- Controlling the training and development of your staffand management. – Driving teamperformance. – Providing your team with astimulating and supportive environment. – Givescoaching and feedbacks to team members to ensure delivery ofquality customer service – Organizing andsupervising shifts. – Appraising staffperformance and providing feedback to improve productivity.Positively and politely motivating our staff to performbetter. – Training new and existing employees onproper customer service practices. – Ensuringthat employees work under safe and clean conditions.- Attending and reminding the employees to attend basicfood safety and work safety training programs.c) General – Doing administrativetasks. Creating work schedules. – Reportingbroken equipment. – Regularly reviewing thequality of our supplies and researching about newvendors. – Ensuring that all our items are welllabeled. – Informing the top management andreceivers about items that need to be ordered. -Ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.Managing restaurant’s good image and suggest ways toimprove it. – Controlling operational costs andidentify measures to cut waste. – Creatingdetailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues andexpenses. – Promoting the brand in the localcommunity through word-of-mouth and restaurant events.
