Position Title:Director / VP, Business Analytics (to be determined based on experience / tenure)Position Summary:This position carried the overall responsibility of designing Property Finder’s analytics organization strategy, and creating impact through solving business problems in partnership with product, marketing and commercial organizations.Key Responsibilities:Set the future vision of the role business analytics plays in the organization in line with the company’s strategy and vision
Lead the Analytics Center of Excellence in the organization, consisting of various analytics functions, including: commercial, product and marketing analytics
Drive impact through establishing a “data beats opinion” mindset in the organization
Bring transparency to strategic priorities and through reporting, and come up with recommendations to improve product, marketing or commercial performance
Develop frameworks enabling us to solve complex business problems, lead building and implementing analytical models
Establish the single source of truth for critical KPIs across the entire organization, and influence critical stakeholders for usage of these
Discover new opportunities to grow and optimize the business through analytics, modeling, and business case development
Manage a team of talented managers and senior managers across UAE and Turkey
Develop strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the company and represent the function in cross-functional teamsDesired Qualifications:12+ years of experience in highly analytical roles – ideal candidate would have previous experience as a combination of Principal / Associate Principal in a top-tier consulting company, OR experience as VP, Business Analytics / Data Analytics function within a technology company (for VP tenure, we expect at least 15 years of experience)
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with experience in presenting technical content to audiences with clear sow hat. Ideal candidate would have an obsession with “So what” and have exceptional ability in “storylining”. (can’t emphasize this enough)
Exceptional ability to influence direction of the organization using the combination of 1) power of analytics, 2) stakeholder influencing and 3) agenda driving
Demonstrated track record of leadership, with coaching, developing and guiding talent
Significant experience and knowledge of analytics and statistical frameworks (A/B testing, Pre-post analysis, retention/churn analytics, marketing analytics and product analytics)
Proven track record of high performance and achievements in career
Having an eye on detail, immediately picking up issues on trends, knowing where to look at and what to search for
Proven track record of understanding of an end-to-end analyticsNote: The tenure of the role (i.e., Director vs VP) will be based on the background, experience and expertise of the candidate in consideration
