Job Responsibilities:Responsible for all aspects of post-fixture vessel operations.
Co-ordinate with agents, owners, surveyors and Chartering department.
Ensure proper documentation including Fixture note, B/L, scrutiny of Survey reports and freight invoice.
Coordinate with PME terminals for discharge of cargo smoothly.
Prepare regular and periodic reports/reviews.
Maintains channels of effective communication with Sales, Traders, Logistics, Terminal, Finance, etc. and branch offices.
Provide notices and preliminary calculation of laytime and demurrage to all stakeholders.
Calculate demurrage and raise debit notes on Suppliers and Receivers; Scrutinize demurrage claims from Owners and counter / negotiate to reduce company exposure. Follow-up for recoveries and report on weekly / monthly basis.
Analyze cargo losses and take proactive measures to mitigate losses. Notify all concerned in case of cargo loss, including insurance.
Establish & enforce the proper working procedure by making proper corrective and preventive actions through the analysis and investigation of problems, feedback and complaints.
Adhere to guidelines, standard operations procedure (SOP) and key performance indicator (KPI).
Make sure shipments are executed according to the agreed schedule & time frame.
Reporting bulk liquid moves and market intelligence.Job Requirements:Academic qualification: Graduate in any discipline, Maritime Studies / Commerce / Economics or equivalent is preferred.
MICS will be an added advantage.
Experience: 5 years of relevant experience in Post-fixture operations / Chemicals Chartering / Broking / Demurrage analysis.
