Financial Analyst/ consultant (Business technology) This is a 12 month contractFinancial Analyst/ consultant (Business technology) is required by a Global name organisation which is an international market leader. You must have worked in a similar position within a large complex organisation.You will need to produce and maintain a live work program, working with inter and intra departmental stakeholders in a proactive and service-oriented way to optimize the utilization of its resources, while maintaining appropriate controls in a complex Matrix organisation.Responsibilities :• Defining and tracking Work program of Capex and Opex initiatives at a resource role level to enable a resource forecast in a very large IT organisation including Reviewing, collating, maintaining and highlighting changes to project plans frequently. Monitoring and Reporting on active projects (following up project until completion), and reporting progress for strategic decisions such as changes to project plans. Integrating schedules across related programs and projects. Tracking key milestones and impact on resources.• Analyse, and advise on, resource implications of new initiatives, co-ordinate with stakeholders to prioritise short-term initiatives and long-term projects in a Matrix organisation• Track progress of all Work assignments coming into the Software Engineering Office. Monitor progress, co-ordinate delivery dates, and maintain financial tracking including marking budgets for all project expenditure.• Track Schedule of progress of all Work assignments and maintain accurate forecast of resources and work program. Establish a supporting environment for Software Engineering office, consolidating planning information across multiple work streams for executive reporting.• Co-ordinate, compile and prepare annual budget of a large Organisation, responsible for tracking budget and other resources in an effective and efficient manner that is aligned with the organisation’s strategic priorities. It handles an overall budget resources of AED 250M.• Present periodic Dashboard reports on the current program, future opportunities and client issues• Keeping an eye on progress of all orders coming into the Software Engineering Office, monitoring progress and coordinating delivery dates.• Maintaining financial controls and systems for recording, monitoring, forecasting and budgeting of all project expenditure.• Fully supporting the Software Engineering projects including administration, organization of project meetings and minutes.• Responsible for tracking performance against agreed SLOs with other departments, to ensure there are no delays of orders of the critical work-streams.• Weekly performance report and monthly Project Status report for Software Engineering office must be produced.• Defining and tracking Work program of Capex and Opex initiatives at a resource role level to enable a resource forecast in a very large IT organisation including Reviewing, collating, maintaining and highlighting changes to project plans frequently.
