-Must have exposure and good relations with domestic Market – wheat, corn, barley, sorghum & millets and connects with key decision makers-Additionally, trading in pulses knowledge preferred-Origination strength – connect with local traders, brokers, farmers-Marketing strength – have good customer knowledge – flours millers, cattle , poultry, starch processors, malt companies, distilleries --Have a commercial mindset; able to generate PNL and manage book-Should have efficient risk management skills – ability to under risk management tools, apply hedges and be on top of risk management-Sound understanding of contract management and execution skills-Knowledge of imported Grains used in the market and their price parity with Indian Grains.-Ability to analyze Indian Grains balance sheet and highlight sales business opportunities-Ability to formulate marketing strategy to achieve sales in the region/India.-Ensure performance of contracts and flag any concerns arising out of adverse market moves-Train other marketing staff in office from succession planning standpoint-Managing and expanding relationships in the value chain across the country-Able to work with targets with an attitude to surpass them.-Daily & Weekly Cash Flow management & Reporting.- Our client is a leading merchant and processor of agricultural goods.
