This includes accountability for department staffing, productivity and enhancement of employees.Direct the management and operation of IT infrastructure and communication networks.Review of existing systems and creation of new and enhanced methods.Develop and manage department budgets, perform cost analysis and devise cost reduction methods.Oversees the staffing of the department to ensure work is completed effectively and efficiently.Evaluate vendors and proposals for additional services, products and equipment.Provide leadership in the development and implementation of new systems.Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of state of the art equipment and leading edge technologies.
