Preparing technical advises to our clients on their Indirect Tax position in the GCC, by interpreting articles in the GCC VAT legislations and giving your own opinion. Having the ability to provide solutions to clients in complex situations independently. The ability to create a connection with our clients based on Indirect Tax advisory skills. Coordination of Indirect Tax projects for VAT registration and VAT compliance for clients in multiple countries. The ability to prepare and implement project process documentation to run multiple country operations smoothly. Understanding the complexities and differences of the VAT legislations in different countries. he ability to train and coach our junior staff members on their development in the Indirect Tax team. Provide useful feedback to junior team members that will be implemented thereafter. Delegate projects successfully to our team members and ensure that they have sufficient workload. Develop and execute Indirect Tax training programs for our junior team members. Ability to spot and execute opportunities for the Indirect tax team, or other team service lines, for new business opportunities. Developing your own network internally and externally. Preparing and supporting marketing initiatives for the Indirect tax team or other teams. Having a commercial mindset: Being essential for the revenue growth and the strategy of the Indirect Tax team. Working efficiently on the assigned projects whereby the work is delivered within the budgeted time. RequirementsMinimum of 6 years of experience in the field of Taxation, in a country with a VAT/GST system preferably from a big-4 advisory or law firm.• Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Tax Law(LLB/LLM).• Experience in working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Navision, Sun System) and how to manage data efficiently.• Preferably experience with indirect tax for the financial services sector and digital services sector.• Excellent English communication skills, in speaking as well as writing.• Expert in communicating with clients and colleagues, and commercially driven.•Excellent research and writing skills to understand problems and provide solutions.
