Job Description Duties and Responsibilities:• Review overall project scope of SmartPlant/AVEVA Schematic tools (SPI, SPEL, AVEVA Electrical/Instrumentation) and work with the Disciplines/Project Leads on implementation.• Administration activities of SmartPlant/AVEVA Schematic software like Installation, Database creation, Project Management Environment and Plants/Area/Unit hierarchy, User Creation, Access Control, Specification and library creation, Drawing and reports templates configuration, Integration with other SmartPlant Enterprise/AVEVA tools like SP3D/E3D, SPPID, SPF etc.,• Installation and administration of Schematic databases in ORACLE/MS-SQL• User creation and access control• Create/Manage Plants/Area/Unit hierarchy• Experience in the resolution of errors• Create Specifications, catalogues and reports to suit company/client standards• Customize seed data to meet project requirements.• Set-up and manage work-sharing with other offices.• Maintain daily backups.• Guide end-users in day-to-day activities.• Automate user tasks wherever possible• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues.• Preparation of project specific procedures for Schematic Tools (Electrical, Instrumentation & P&ID)• Support multiple projects simultaneously with overlapping deadlines and configuration of Global Workshare Environment• Contribute to the development of and adherence to company best practices. Skills Required Qualifications• Degree in Engineering or equivalent• Minimum 8 years’ experience.• Extensive knowledge in Schematic tools like SPI/SPEL and/or AVEVA Electrical/Instrumentation• Exposure to other software like SPPID, Smart Plant Foundation, AVEVA P&ID/E3D/Engineering• Exposure to integration between schematic and 3D tools• Understanding of engineering workflow in an Oil & Gas EPC environment• Strong computer background (working knowledge of MS Windows, MS Office, MSAccess, Oracle, MS SQL)• Good command of written and spoken English.• Excellent interpersonal, communication and documentation skills
