We have a great opportunity for an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Technician to join the team in our Engineering Department. The successful applicant will join a dynamic team of Engineering professionals.
What are we looking for?
Experience in Hotel field. Strong knowledge of Plumbing, Electrical systems, HVAC, and General repair techniques. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills and a customer-oriented approach. Lives and breathes the Shangri-La values. What will you do?
Monitor, Operate and Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs. Execution of preventative maintenance plan and the works order control system. Remain ready to assist engineering colleagues in their daily duties. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing repairs, and electrical work. Ensure that all systems (heating, cooling, plumbing, etc.) are functioning efficiently. Address and fix any issues promptly, including repairing appliances, fixing leaks, and patching walls. Coordinate with contractors for more extensive repairs when necessary. Troubleshoot and repair or replace faulty appliances. Be available for emergency repairs and respond promptly to urgent maintenance issues. Ensure 24/7 availability for critical situations. Provide regular updates on the condition of the property.
