COMPANY BACKGROUND
We are a $100m investment firm that specialises in the medical aesthetics industry and have a network of warehouses globally that serve as local procurement centres which also pick, pack and ship products to our end consumer - currently this is about 90% in the US and our customer is small - medium sized health care professionals.
We have been in business since 2002, and have a network of 15 warehouses in 15 countries in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
Our primary business is focused on enabling sourcing and ecommerce distribution of medical goods and other healthcare related products to clinics, aestheticians, doctors, and pharmacists in the global SME space. Wrapped around this core offering are adjacent business solutions which our clientele requires to run their day-to-day businesses (IT, in-house legal, digital marketing, globally relevant access to cheap product, AI enhanced global logistics and software solutions, International payment processing and outsourced administration services).
In essence, we are a B2B distributor of medical devices, medical aesthetics & pharma products that are sourced from Asia and Europe and shipped mainly to the US.
ROLE BACKGROUND
We have the need to find a partner to open up another warehouse facility in the UAE to handle import / export of medical aesthetics. Further, there is an opportunity to develop local sales as well.
WHO YOU ARE POTENTIALLY

TO BE RELEVANT FOR THIS ROLE:
- We need you to be familiar with importing and exporting (ideally) medical aesthetics, medical devices, cosmetics or pharmaceuticals
- Ideally you are doing this currently and are looking for an Investor into your business, or, alternatively you are running a business and looking to sell it
- Maybe you are working in a sales function within the medical aesthetics industry and you have a strong network in your home market and are looking at branching out on your own
- You will have a strong business acumen and enjoy working for yourself, running your own business & P&L, and being a part of a global organisation that supports you to help set up your own entity and to help run all aspects of your day to day

- Which Free Zone are you in already Are you very familiar with importing and exporting within the free zone
- Who the main consumers of aesthetics Is it just GPs Or is it also beauticians, nurses etc
- What are the limitations that we need to think about for importing medical aesthetics / devices
- How do you see the market within aesthetics in the UAE Who are the major players, what brands are relevant – basically who are we going to compete with
- What about exporting and order fulfilment to the US – what restrictions or limitations can you speak too Do you think there is a good opportunity here as well Do we need permits to export
